Mont-Laurier
Get the Antoine-Labelle section of the Linear Park “Le P’tit Train du Nord” Interpretation Guide available at the Mont-Laurier tourist office.
The office is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm.
The office is on the right side of the Mont-Laurier City Hall where there is a terrace.

Mont-Laurier
Start the day with a good coffee and a healthy breakfast at Kaffé Krème. Take advantage of their large selection of sandwiches and have your lunch prepared to go!

Hautes-Laurentides
It’s time to take the Le P’tit Train du Nord bike path!
Each interpretive panel allows you to take a break and learn more about the natural and heritage attractions of the old railway line. Also, the stretch to Val-Barrette is well known for its beauty, so take a look!
In Val-Barrette (188th km), take a lunch break at the old “Routhier Station”. This station was demolished in 1987. Enjoy your sandwich while reading about the history of the railway that contributed to the development of our region!

The municipal beach is located 2 km away if you feel like a little swim!

Take the opportunity to refresh yourself with a dip in the pool! The Red River offers beautiful scenery, but it is also full of history! Before the arrival of the settlers, the Weskarinis, an aboriginal group that has now disappeared, travelled the Rouge and Lièvre valleys to their hunting grounds.
