In short
April 4 - 3pm
This solo documentary show places Jocelyn Sioui at the heart of history. He draws on the small and large threads of his great-uncle’s story, but also on the little-known history of 20th-century natives. Surrounded by screens and models that come to life with historical figures and images, he takes us deep into a box of archives from which we emerge changed. Funny, touching and energetic, Mononk Jules is a captivating story delivered with authenticity by an infectious performer.
Open to all: this documentary play by Jocelyn Sioui is presented as part of the CCML’s Science and Culture Colloquium in collaboration with Desjardins Caisse du Cœur des Upper-Laurentians.
