To Observe Colors Differently
Do you want to enjoy the autumn landscapes in a different way than the classic hike? There are many other ways to enjoy the colors in the Upper-Laurentians.
- Canoe
Often forgotten as a fall activity, canoeing is a great way to see colorful landscapes. It is perfect for peaceful mountain viewing, as there is no visual obstruction. To ensure success, you must be well prepared for your outing, the wind can be chilly, so bring warm clothes, without forgetting the safety equipment for a memorable day.
- Montagne du Diable parc: Until Thanksgiving
- Poisson Blanc Park: Until October 17
- Kiamika Regional Park: Until October 2
- Bike
Did you know that the P’tit Train du Nord linear park is open until the end of October for our greatest pleasure! Indeed, the warmer weather in the fall makes cycling more than enjoyable. In addition, the MRC d’Antoine-Labelle sector is all paved and is bordered by a forest offering magnificent landscapes.
- Quad
To get to the highest point of view in the Upper-Laurentians, quad biking is the alternative to hiking. You can rent the quad for the day from Mont-Laurier and make a colorful trip. The arrival at the Relais de la montagne du Diable will give you a view of the Upper-Laurentians. You can also take the opportunity to stop at Windigo Falls.
- Seaplane tour
Looking for a spectacular way to see our landscape? Aviation Delco offers a very interesting package to take you over the majestic mountains surrounding the Poisson Blanc Reservoir before going to treat your taste buds at the restaurant. An extraordinary round trip for the eyes and for the stomach!
