In short
April 29 - 8pm
Luc De Larochellière’s Rhapsodie lavalloise is twelve songs that become one, told from the memories of this 10 year old boy in Laval in 1976. Many will find themselves in these stories straight out of this touching reminiscence against the backdrop of the Olympic Games and the Parti Québécois’ rise to power. Set in a cinematic visual environment inspired by drawings created by Luc, it features the entirety of this musical work amalgamated with confidences full of humor and emotion. In order to complete the nostalgic impulse of this show, the most important songs of Luc’s repertoire will follow, and he will take the opportunity to tell their genesis. In short, a journey through time where the past is conjugated to the present!
