In short
This monument was erected in memory of the log drive, a harsh occupation and a key event in the development of the economy and communities of the Upper-Laurentians.
Log driving on the Lièvre River ended in November 1993, after just over 100 years of operation. Today, a collective work of art has been arranged here by the Ruches d’Art.
